PRINCE2 - Project Management Foundation Course (Day 1 of 3)

PRINCE2™ is a process-based method for effective project management, and will give you the fundamental skills you need to become a successful project manager. It stands for Projects IN Controlled Environments, and is used and recognised all over the world

The Foundation course delivers the full PRINCE2™ project management curriculum through presentations, discussion, exercises and exam practice. The course is fast-paced and runs for three days from 8.15 am to 5.00 pm with two hours of exam practice recommended each evening.  The course is aimed at anyone who needs project management methodologies, project management certification and to work effectively in a PRINCE2 environment.
 
Pre-course work
We suggest participants complete ten to twelve hours of pre-course reading.  A pack consisting of the pre-course reading guide and the PRINCE2 manual will be sent to all participants who complete registration at least ten days before the course is due to start.

The PRINCE2 Foundation Exam is a one-hour closed book exam with seventy-five multiple-choice questions.  The candidate must correctly answer 50% or more of the questions to pass the exam. We conduct the exam on behalf of Accrediting Professional Managers Globally.

The pre-course reading guide; PRINCE2 manual; Foundation workbook including activities, discussions, quizzes and sample exams; PRINCE2 desk reference chart; Foundation exam; morning and afternoon refreshments; lunch; and post-course support, including access to our alumni-only resources are all included in the course fees.

Professional development
24 Professional Development Units (PDUs) will be awarded once you have passed the Foundation exam.  Every certified Project Management Professional needs to earn 60 PDUs every three years to retain their certification.
