Dunedin June BA5: Otago Polytechnic Community Engagement event
Wed 25 June 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Otago Polytechnic The Hub, 95 Forth Street, Dunedin
Otago Polytechnic has been going through a series of changes in recent years, but we're excited to be re-engaging with our community partners.
We are continuing to work towards becoming a standalone institution once again, and are getting closer to an expected government announcement around the future pathway for Otago Polytechnic and other ITPs.
This gives us a great opportunity to bring our community together, and we’re keen to keep you informed of our plans and ensure we’re being responsive to your needs.
We’re holding a Community Engagement event on Wednesday 25 June in The Hub at the Dunedin campus, and are inviting industry and business partners, together with kaimahi (staff) to join us.
The event will be brief and engaging (just one hour, straight after work). Executive Director Megan PÅtiki will provide a "past, present, and future" of Otago Polytechnic, and discuss how we can best support each other.
We'll also be revealing details of our relaunched Otago Polytechnic Industry Training programme, following recent government changes in the work-based learning sector.
Drinks and nibbles will be on offer while you listen and engage, and we’ll be seeking a “pulse check” from guests through a short survey.
