Anger Management 101. How to control your temper.

What is Anger?

• Learn the biology of anger and how to manage and control tempers with both internal and external controls and recognise the early warning signs.
• Discover what are the trigger signs to look out for.
• Understand the difference between anger, anxiety, and fear - and gain insight into mindfulness and Sensory Modulation (the ways of calming senses).
• Create an Anger Management Plan with support options.

This course has been created by a team with over 25 years of supporting high and complex individuals.

FACILITATOR

Matthew Peppercorn is a Mental Health Nurse of 25 years, a parent, musician, gardener and survivor of depression and anxiety. He uses humour, films, group work, board work and pictures with proven facts to promote the wellbeing of people at home and in the workplace. Often using real examples from life, course attendees can pick up quickly core information and apply it to themselves and those around them. Under the TASK umbrella Matthew works at a grassroots level with both local community, government agencies, corporate businesses, schools, universities and polytechnics. Over 2,000 people across New Zealand have attended Matthew's sessions in the last 18 months.

Not for Profit organisations, clubs and their members qualify for Not for Profit subsided workshops workshops due to the generous support of Otago Community Trust. Please provide us with the name of the Not for Profit organisation or club when you register.
For a full refund to be given, cancellation must be received no less than 48 hours prior to the workshop date.
Any other organisations can attend the training but will be required to pay the full commercial rate of $299 incl. GST.
