Join the Datacom team for this Breakfast Cyber Session as Edd Barber, Datacom Cybersecurity consultant and thought leader will delve behind the press coverage to show you what cyber warfare is really like from the perspective of one of the largest in region security teams and share some of their pivotal war stories.  
You will also gain insight into ‘malicious actor’s’ from Datacom’s extensive experience of cyber-attacks, learn about the trends observed, and why they would want to target your business, no matter your size. 

You will walk away from this session with some high-level guidance based on decades of experience as to what questions and actions you should be putting to your team and suppliers to deter attacks and preserve the integrity and operational status of your business.  

Edd Barber
Edd Barber has worked with five eyes intelligence, the military, and UK industry scaling cybersecurity capability. He aided in the establishment of UK NCSC, developed the standards for the world’s largest security firm and supported Y Combinator funded start-ups. Edd has provided cybersecurity guidance on four continents whilst running his own business. He is an impassioned advocate of employing proportional security to enhance and enable society through successful businesses, meanwhile assuring individuals right to privacy. He develops methods to simplify needless complexities into digestible and comprehensible approaches that deliver tangible results to business and ultimately back to society.
