Project Management is an essential skill set in today’s environment. There is the expectation that people will just be able to run a project however, training or guidance is rarely provided. So, what do you actually need to do to run a successful project… without continual stress, long hours, and firefighting? And that may be on top of your usual job!

LEARNING OBJECTIVE
This workshop identifies the key aspects of projects that should be dealt with and when. We cover tools and techniques to help to understand:
  • why are we doing this project?
  • what do we need to do?
  • how can we do it?
  • who should be involved?

  • Anyone who has never had any guidance or training in project management.
  • Anyone who is new to project management.
  • Anyone who may be interested in a project management career.

LEARNING CONTENT
  • Learn about the stages of a project. Gain understanding of what should be achieved at each stage.
  • Gain and practice using practical key tools and techniques.
  • Learn about tools and approaches to create an effective audit trail and report on progress.
  • Learn about key project focus areas such as change management and risk management.
  • Close out projects properly!
