How do I Address Poor Performance - Oamaru
Fri 9 August 8:30am - 1:30pm
TBC, Oamaru
This is the most frequently asked question we get from clients.

It is also the most common challenge for employers, small, medium, or large and often it is not done well, or not done at all.  This ultimately results in frustration for high performers, disgruntled customers, and acceptance that poor performance is accepted.

How would you rate the performance management processes and capabilities in your organisation?

Do you avoid it?  Or do you address it, but do not get the outcomes you want?

I will help you understand how to firstly measure someone’s performance i.e. how do you know it is substandard?  Is the employee aware of what is expected?  Often, they are not.

Then we will discuss and practice how to provide feedback, set goals, and review these professionally and honestly.   We will also look at the principle of regular reviews and how to implement.

Time to discuss specific examples within the group.
