Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Enter data into multiple cells at once.
- Set up data validation to restrict what can be entered into a cell, therefore improving accuracy of data entry.
- Use 3D references to add data from multiple sheets.
By the end of this session you will have a knowledge of:
- Using consolidate to summaries data from multiple sheets.
- Using Power Query to combine data from different sources.
- How to create a simple Pivot Table.
Presenter: Grant Baldwin
Grant set up Custom Spreadsheet Solutions to build customised spreadsheets for organisations and provide coaching in spreadsheet use. His clients are able to work more efficiently and spend time on the parts of their jobs they enjoy instead of dealing with repetitive tasks or manual calculations.
Grant has 20 years’ experience working with spreadsheets. He has used them to do everything from presenting official statistics, to calculating investment returns, determining medication dosing, recording school competition results, and solving penguin puzzles.
