Neuroinclusion: Diverse thinking styles and collective strengths - Dunedin
Tue 18 March 9:00am - 1:00pm
Training Room, Business South Inc, Level 3, 442 Moray Place, Dunedin
Every interaction in work takes place between people with different thinking styles – yet typically neuroinclusion is not always considered in the design of workplace processes and practices. Recognising opportunities for change and taking action can help us better enable all people to realise their full potential at work.
This learning activity is suitable for anyone who is interested in developing a greater understanding, awareness and appreciation of neuroinclusive workplaces. When we are talking about neurodiversity, we’re developing a better understanding of the fact people do think differently. Using insight, we will look at what some employers are currently doing in this area, review research findings and evaluate various information sources. With a futures focus and systems perspective, we will recognize good practice and identify areas where we could do better. We will complete the learning activity by designing a fit for purpose workplace practical tool.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- Explain what is meant by Neuroinclusiveness.
