COURAGEOUS CONVERSATIONS
We all know how important they are, and we generally know when we need to have them. But we avoid them for many reasons.
Once we understand
why they are so crucially important and
how we can prepare, plan, do and reflect, we then have a much better chance of success and doing what is fundamentally the right thing for us, them and the team.

But if there is no communication, there can be no trust.”

Getting to know your team, understanding more about what they like and don’t like, what’s keeping them awake, showing that you care, listening, checking in, mentoring, developing, working together. You can’t achieve any of these without real face to face engagement. This isn’t a performance review; it isn’t just a chat at the water cooler or popping into the office for a yarn. Its special time set aside for the both of you, to be curious and help each other.
