At the end of the programme, staff will:

- have a greater cultural understanding
- understand the actions and behaviours needed to reduce workplace health and safety incidents
- have increased productivity.
The content will cover:
This is an interactive experiential workshop including
- appreciating and understanding Kiwi and other cultures in the workplace
- improving communication with an international workforce
- giving effective instructions
- ensuring that instructions are understood and will be carried out
- practical handouts and tools that can be applied immediately.

Organisations who want to improve their health and safety environment in a multi-cultural setting.

This programme was developed and piloted in the construction sector in partnership with the Dunedin Hospital rebuild and Workforce Central Dunedin. It has been nominated for a national award as it significantly improved compliance with instructions, reducing the number of Health and safety incidents.
