About Mactodd Community Charitable Trust
Officially re-launched in 2025, the Mactodd Community Charitable Trust reflects Mactodd Lawyers’ long-standing commitment to supporting the communities of Central Otago and the Queenstown Lakes District. Building on decades of local connection, the Trust provides funding to initiatives that strengthen community wellbeing, arts and culture, education, and local resilience.

The Trust’s first grants round exceeded all expectations, attracting an overwhelming number of applications from a diverse range of organisations doing inspiring work across our region. This response highlighted both the depth of need and the strength of community spirit locally. We are proud to have supported a number of impactful projects and look forward to sharing insights from this inaugural round — including what we learned and the positive difference already being made.

About The Brae
We are delighted to be hosted by The Brae, a boutique Central Otago winery set amongst stunning vineyard landscapes. Known for its warm hospitality and thoughtfully crafted wines, The Brae celebrates the land, people and community that make this region special. Their venue provides the perfect setting to bring Southern businesses together — to connect, share ideas, and continue building a strong and vibrant local network.
