This three-session training series is designed to build Copilot and generative AI capability across Otago organisations. The programme is modular, and focused on practical, measurable outcomes. Each session includes clear learning objectives, hands-on activities, and resources to support ongoing learning and responsible AI adoption.

Learning objectives
By the end of this two-hour session, participants will be able to:
  • Use Copilot for advanced data analysis and visualisation in Excel, including Python integration
  • Create and apply custom instructions in Outlook for efficient, consistent communication
  • Automate data collection and reporting with Microsoft Forms and Copilot
  • Deploy and manage Copilot Agents for research, analysis, and business process automation

  • Perform complex data analysis and generate insights without coding
  • Personalise and automate communication at scale
  • Automate data collection and reporting workflows
  • Lead AI adoption and innovation within teams.
