This three-session training series is designed to build Copilot and generative AI capability across Otago organisations. The programme is modular, and focused on practical, measurable outcomes. Each session includes clear learning objectives, hands-on activities, and resources to support ongoing learning and responsible AI adoption.

Learning objectives
By the end of this one-hour session, participants will be able to:
- Explain what generative AI is and its relevance to New Zealand organisations
- Apply the Goal-Context-Source-Expectations (GCSE) framework to craft effective prompts
- Use Microsoft Copilot’s chat interface for basic tasks
- Identify key benefits, risks, and ethical considerations of AI in the workplace
